Day 1

BRISBANE TO ROMA

08.30 am Meeting at Cabooture Services, north bound

Meet all the tour participants, Introduction of Tour Guides, detailed information and brochures will be supplied and the entire itinerary discussed. Together we set off on our adventure

Day 2

ROMA to CARNARVON GORGE

Driving to Carnarvon Gorge where we will spend 2 nights in a Bush camp, toilets, dump point, no power, no portable water

Day 3

CARNARVON GORGE

Bush walk Carnarvon Gorge
Lower Gorge Explorer Tour guided by Carnarvon Gorge Nature guides
Optional extra throughout the day:
Helicopter flight for $99.00 10 minute flight

Day 4

EMERALD

Drive from Carnarvon Gorge to Emerald , powered site

Day 5

LARA STATION WETLANDS

Drive from Emerald to Lara Station Wetlands near Barcaldine, access road is well maintained dirt road 13km, 2 nights Bush camp, toilets, showers, no power

Day 6

LARA STATION WETLANDS

Full day in Lara Wetlands, optional Homestead tour

Day 7

LARA STATION to LONGREACH

It's only a short drive to Longreach where we will have the rest of the day available for optional activities: Stockman's Hall of Fame, Qantas Founders Museum, Longreach School of distant Education, Scenic flights, Cobb and Co stage coach ride, station tours

Day 8

LONGREACH

We will all enjoy a beautiful sun set cruise on the Thomson River with Onboard Captain's commentary, Nibbles served at Sunset Bend stop, Two-course table service outback dinner featuring camp oven themed modern cuisine, live entertainment, transfers to and from the Caravan Park
Sadly it will be time to say farewell !
